Socrates Rossides

Founder, Global Coordinator

With a strong foundation in law and a passion for humanitarian fieldwork, Socrates is the Founder of Rhea Foundation and serves as the Head Field Coordinator. Graduating with a degree in Law from England and a postgraduate degree from the Netherlands and serving in humanitarian missions across Nepal, India and Africa, Socrates combines legal expertise with a deep commitment to social justice in third world countries gaining invaluable hands-on experience in community development and sustainable practices. His responsibilities range for overseeing project implementation, coordinating volunteer efforts, and ensuring compliance with legal standards. Together with the dedicated team at Rhea Foundation, Socrates is focused on creating sustainable solutions that uplift communities, provide access to clean water, bridge the educational gap for children living in rural Africa and promote social equity. His commitment has led to impactful initiatives that enhance learning opportunities and foster community development.

Dr. Tarek Sardana
Founder, Chief Medical Officer

Dr. Tarek Sardana is driven by a deep-seated passion for improving global healthcare. With a clear purpose to catalyze positive change in healthcare, education, and providing sustainable water solutions to rural Africa, Dr. Sardana is the Chief Medical Officer of Rhea Global and the Director of Rhea Foundation Canada. His journey is marked by a commitment to merging cutting-edge technology with compassionate care, ensuring that our initiatives not only meet but exceed expectations in advancing these vital areas. Dr. Sardana’s medical expertise plays a vital role in shaping programs that improve the health and wellbeing of children in underserved regions of Africa. His practical knowledge and steady guidance help ensure our initiatives are both effective and responsive to the needs of the communities we serve.

Florentia Charalampous
Education & Volunteer Program Manager

Florentia is the dedicated Education and Volunteer Program Manager where she has made a profound impact on the lives of children in rural Africa. Her deep connection with the local communities and her commitment to empowering youth through education are at the heart of her work. With a focus on bridging the educational gap in Africa for children living in poverty, she has connected numerous resources and volunteers with educational projects. Her commitment to making a difference is reflected in her hands-on approach and her ability to build strong relationships with both volunteers and local community partners.
Florentia is particularly known for enhancing the educational programs for students in Africa through the organization of engaging field trips and creative endeavors that inspire curiosity and foster a love for learning by the students. She is a firm believer in the power of education as a catalyst for change and is dedicated to empowering the next generation.

Melissa Munro, RN
Director

As a passionate advocate for positive change, Melissa brings both entrepreneurial and healthcare experience to her role as Director for RHEA Foundation Canada. With a background in nursing and leadership, she is deeply committed to improving access to essential resources like healthcare and clean water in underserved communities. When she graduated from nursing school, she had a vision that her path would lead her to initiatives like this. Melissa’s work is focused on rural Africa, where she provides deep insight and consulting to improve access to basic health services and safe water in the communities we serve. As a nurse, she brings a deep understanding of the challenges faced by underserved communities—particularly when it comes to maternal health, female hygiene, and long-term wellbeing. Her concern goes beyond access to care; it’s about ensuring women and girls are treated with dignity, educated about their bodies, and supported with the right tools to stay healthy.
